Our Background & Philosophy

King's Kid Ranch was officially founded in 2016, but our roots go deeper than that. Since she was 5 years old, the dream of uniting rescued horses with children eager to learn has lived in the heart of our founder, Crystal Jenkins.

Crystal was brought up in a family of equestrians. Her generational background started with her parents being in the racing industry, showmanship with Arabians, and Tennessee Walking Horses World Championships. She went on to train and show in everything from western pleasure, trail riding, and 3- day eventing. 

What started with one rescued Thoroughbred, has now grown into a massive program. All of our horses are restarted and trained from the ground up in order to assure they receive the rock - solid foundation they deserve.
